Only 7 Pathogenic Age-related Precursors: Cell Death

One of the seven early precursors of age-related pathology are helpful cells that die without being replaced.

There are three stages of solutions:
  • natural growth stimulation (e.g. exercise);
  • artificial growth stimulation (i.e. injection of growth factors); and,
  • introduction of stem cells.
Because of natural defenses against cancer preventing excessive cell division, the first two would eventually lead to cell depletion. Therefore, exogenic stem cell replenishment will almost certainly be needed.

Cell depletion is already heavily targeted by growth factor and stem cell research. Since they are pursued on such a large scale already, they don't fall under the umbrella of LMRF's beneficiaries.
